  • Not suitable for wheelchair users — boarding is from the beach into a small boat.
  • Children under 4 travel free but must sit on a lap during the crossing.
  • Departure time moves with the tide, so it changes daily — we confirm it by WhatsApp the evening before.
  • Cancelled by us for weather or sea state? You choose a full refund or a free change of date.

Questions people ask

What if I cannot swim?
That is common and it is fine. Life jackets are fitted for everyone before we leave the jetty, and a crew member stays in the water beside anyone who wants company. The sandbank is walkable.
Why does the pickup time change?
The sandbank only exists at low tide, so the whole day is built backwards from the tide table. We message you the exact time by WhatsApp the evening before.
Is there shade on the boat?
Yes — the dhow has a fitted canopy over the central seating, and the lunch spot is under casuarina trees. Bring a hat for the sandbank itself, which has none.
